"We headed out to Hicksville to do their Drive-Thru light display, for my birthday. We decided to give this place a try. Joann had the patty melt and onion rings. The O'rings we're awesome. Sweet onions, crunchy thin batter on outside; excellent. She said it was a good patty melt too. She was able to eat it for lunch today too. I had the 2 piece fish, with 2 sides. House salad was shared with Joann. It was that big. French fries were a little too crisp for me and the fish was ok. One piece was ok but the other piece was so OVER-FRIED that chewing it was a lost cause. It was so bad that not even our cats wanted it. That's saying something... It ended up in the garbage at home. Restaurant was very clean, staff friendly and attentive. We shared a very, VERY cold piece of carrot cake, which clearly had been frozen at some point. It WAS MY BIRTHDAY, after all. You can tell by the unassuming location that the regular diners are well known by the staff. We will give them another chance, so we can have breakfast there next time. Location, of the windows in restaurant allowed for watching the snow come down. Great place. -Brightest Blessings. )O("
